**_Job Description: _**

**_Primary Responsibilities _**
- Secure and evolve our best execution practices in trading onshore and offshore China bonds
- Build relationships with key onshore and offshore counterparties to facilitate trading, especially in relatively illiquid bond types
- Trade Chinese (onshore and offshore) cash bonds, interest rate swaps, FX (spot and derivatives), bond futures and other instruments
- Act as backup trader for other Asian markets when needed (occasionally)
- Resolve any post trade issues in partnership with the middle office and support the order management process.
- Provide market intelligence to portfolio managers and analysts
- Contribute towardsportfolio implementation, including portfolio monitoring and cash management
- Minimum 2 years work experience in trading Fixed Income instruments oneither the sell
- or buy
- side, preferably in onshore China bonds (portfolio implementation experience helpful).
- Team-player, able to build networks with the sell-side and engaging with our EMD and other NB teams and support functions across regions, providing continuous market monitoring and communicate relevant market flow to team members
- Professional, analytical and diligent.
- Able to prioritize a varied workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong communicator (written and verbal) with quantitative skills
- Global mindset with understanding of international financial markets and cultures
- BA/BS degree required
- Fluent English and Mandarin
- Excel, Bloomberg, PowerPoint and Word skills. Experience with WIND would be a positive.
