Human by nature. Head of Procurement Indirect Materials & Services APAC - Your next position? As an Head of Procurement Indirect Materials & Services APAC (IM&S) at Givaudan’s Singapore office, your role is to establish a clear regional IM&S vision and strategy in alignment with the global IM&S vision and strategy focused on Fueling for Performance. You will manage indirect spend (which includes logistics, packaging and Capex) regionally and drive the procurement strategy, savings and value creating initiatives in line with global and regional category strategies. In addition, you will actively engage with key IM&S regional business stakeholders on strategic initiatives as well as lead & develop regional IM&S Team consisting of 22 full time employees covering 17 sites in 9 countries. In addition, you will also foster close collaboration with Givaudan Busi-ness Solutions (GBS) responsible for Procure to Pay and lead change management towards simplification and implementation of IM&S processes within the region You will report to Head of Global Procurement IM&S and your main responsibilities include: Stakeholder Management & Collaboration Represent the IM&S procurement function with regional and key site stakeholders Establish and implement structural stakeholder engagement plan Foster collaboration between global, regional and local procurement and key regional stakeholders by ensuring transparency, effective communication, understanding business needs and alignment. Drive Procurement initiatives within the region Drive procurement budgeting process for the region in collaboration with stakeholders and global cat-egory team. Ensure high standards of predictability and alignment with stakeholders Drive agreed procurement initiatives within the region Manage and develop procurement strategies for regional and local categories including differentiating ideas Closely collaborate with CI teams Coordinate global IM&S procurement initiatives within the region Represent the region when developing and deploying global sourcing strategies and framework agreements, ensuring contract compliance. Develop and manage regional/site sourcing activities and suppliers Manage key supplier relationships on a regional level in collaboration with global and regional catego-ry management Perform risk assessment and measure supplier performance and report back to Global Category Managers where applicable Support supplier rationalization and development of preferred suppliers Ensure security of supply and adequate communication and actions People & Team Build and develop a competent, engaged regional IM&S organization Attract and train new talent Develop a strong talent pipeline and succession plan, foster high potentials and address performance gaps Manage and allocate regional/local/spot buy resources to ensure the highest benefits for Givaudan Be an active member of the Global IM&S Leadership Team IM&S processes and systems Train team members on relevant policies, procedures and systems and where applicable support im-plementation of new processes and systems. Support/ensure that systems and processes are in place to support all audit requirements regarding "Source to Pay“. Acting as first point of contact for GBS PtP organization in the region and actively engage in improve-ment projects towards global processes and change management with stakeholders Ensure data accuracy in systems by driving discipline.
