We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Operations Department as Business Analyst to support, coordinate and facilitate the development and implementation of our backbone post trade processing & settlements system and business automation solutions to achieve process efficiency and digital transformation objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be the main support for enhancement & improvement initiatives for the core back office post trade processing and settlements system.
- Participate in various enhancements projects by engaging and working closely with multiple stakeholders, user teams, IT team and solution vendors.
- Facilitate scoping, requirements gathering, generate ideas and solution development.
- Understand and analyse the requirements and objectives and work with vendor to design enhancements or solutions that will solve the issues/gaps as well as optimize process efficiency.
- Write business requirement documents (BRD) for vendor/IT team assessment of development scope.
- Be the bridge and manage interactions between various business users, IT team and solution vendors.
- Perform functional validation & testing as well as plan & coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assist with production issue investigation and follow through with resolution and solution refining with vendors & users, until soundly implemented & rectified.
- Assist with any migration/integration works.
- Project progress tracking and reporting
- Assist with any business initiatives that requires Business Analyst involvement to work out the operational process automation or enhancement needs with respect to the back office core processing system in order to support the new initiatives.

**Requirements**:
You should possess the following:

- Degree in Business, Finance or Information Technology.
- At least 3 years of project management or business analyst experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- Have some experience/knowledge with Exchange-Traded Derivative and/or OTC products & basic understanding of back-office functions & processing systems.
- Must be able to converse in mandarin due to need to liaise with Chinese Associates
- Good written & verbal communications skills
- Meticulous and with good organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and displays strong initiative.
- Process-oriented and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
