POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will provide administrative and operational support to the Supply Team in our Marine business.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Coordinate, prepare and execute flow of price information and port information to interested parties within the organization- Extract performance statistics for analysis- Assist both Sales and Administration in ensuring correct, up to date paper trail of fixtures, maintain concise filing system- Prepare & submit monthly expense reports in accordance with T&E guidelines- Managing of contract administration & generating sales confirmations to mainly Korean suppliers- Assist in other administrative functions
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS:
Required:
- Bachelor Degree- In excess of 2 years to 3 years of experience in a Customer Support Role; experience in the marine, shipping or oil industry is a plus- Organized, detail oriented, task oriented and deadline sensitive- High level of competency and experience working with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. At ease working in multicultural environment and ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization- Ability to work after office hours and/or weekends as required- Able to converse in both English and Korean at ease preferred
