The **Culture and Engagement Manager **is a member of NS BlueScope’s regional human resources leadership team, championing Our Purpose and collaborating across functions to develop and implement culture and engagement initiatives to enable delivery of business strategy and cultural aspirations.

This role reports directly to the VP People, NS BlueScope and can be based in our regional offices in either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

**The Opportunity**:

- You will lead, develop and drive effective engagement initiatives and programs to enhance culture and values throughout various programs and active communication channels, such as but not limited to townhalls, internal engagement events, activities, or any ad-hoc projects based on innovative methodologies.
- You will manage and enhance employee communication channels and platforms to ensure effective and impactful delivery. You also need to partner with the Chief Executive to shape compelling and consistent messaging communicated to employees in the company.
- In addition, you will have oversight and track our HR strategies for NS BlueScope ensuring function and country alignment and lead ad-hoc HR projects to facilitate culture and engagement activities.
- Priority focus will include projects and initiatives around Diversity & Inclusion, Global Employee Experience Survey, Employee Wellbeing Program, Innovation and Digitalisation.
- New ways of working are critical to realising the types of impact that we want this role to create across the organisation. You will have an opportunity to shape, be a role model, promote the culture and values that adds value to the business.

**Your background**:

- We would like you to have communications experience including multi-media, written, verbal, executive/employee presentations and facilitation and be a program designer with experience of improving employee communication, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and culture change.
