**JOB PURPOSE**:
Laser Cladding Singapore (“LCS”) is an additive manufacturing company specializing in the remanufacturing of mechanical components across industries such as maritime, petrochemicals and the oil and gas sector. LCS primarily focuses on laser cladding or laser powder blown fusion (“LPBF”) to provide remanufacturing solutions. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of technological innovation and engineering excellence.

As an Assistant Quality Engineer specializing in laser cladding, mechanical engineering, and robotics at LCS, your primary purpose is to design quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems and determine corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures. Your expertise will be instrumental in advancing our technological capabilities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards in quality.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
**Primary responsibilities include**:

- To fulfil individual job inspection and final reports
- Assess technical specifications and project requirements with the sales and operational team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including those involved in pre and post-processing stages to implement new processes end to end
- Conduct and/or coordinate thorough testing and analysis to validate new and/or existing processes related to laser cladding, including implementing destructive and non-destructive testing, material characterization and other relevant methods.
- Develop technical specifications, WPS, WPQR and other qualification related documentation as required
- Troubleshooting process and system issues to improve robustness and reliability
- Any other business requires by the company.

**Qualifications for Assistant QC Engineer (Laser Cladding)**:

- Technical Diploma or ITC/ITE
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills are a must, coupled with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Possess a growth mindset - high adaptability, interest and ability to learn
