**About the role**:
In your role as Vice President you will be working in the Strategic Planning Team of the Global Corporate and Banking Division, which is responsible of promoting wholesale corporate and investment banking business with global corporates (non-Japanese corporates).

The Strategic Planning Team is responsible for leading regional business and strategic initiatives, support business promotion, lead and execute regional initiatives to enhance the global corporate banking business platform within Asia-Pacific.

You wil will work very closely with the Head of Strategic Planning and other team members within the Strategic Planning team to 1. Exercise Business Planning and set up Monitoring frameworks in GCIB APAC, 2. Develop marketing strategies for business promotion and coordinate between Product office and RM function, 3. Enhance communication within GCIB APAC and with other divisions / branches in MUFG APAC as well as divisions and stakeholders in Tokyo Head Office and other entities within the MUFG group.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Transform various business strategies into outcomes by delivering and managing tactics and guidelines in timely fashion
- Improve revenue or reduce cost in any possible ways while in compliance with rules, regulations and internal guidelines
- By embracing change, be a good team player; train/supervise junior staff with proper succession planning
- Build relationship with internal and external customers/stakeholders, and earn trust by delivering quality work

**What we are looking for**:

- At least 5 years of corporate banking experience including 1 year of business planning experience
- At least 1 year of business planning experience.
- Bachelors degree
- A team player who is able to work / collaborate well with various stakeholders in a large Tokyo-based Japanese organization with communication skill and sense of responsibility
- Presentation skills to effectively communicate with internal overseas stakeholders including management members of the Bank
- Accuracy of work to complete the duties so that the management and the other marketing staffs can work smoothly
- Daily conversational proficiency in Japanese, to work closely with the relevant primary offices and stakeholders in Japan.
- Good understanding and business experience toward/with Japanese financial institutions.
