**Job Title: Manager / Deputy Manager, Market / Liquidity - Risk Management**
Join a globally recognized bank as a Manager or Deputy Manager in Market / Liquidity Risk Management. This is a key role focused on ensuring effective risk management and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Daily and Periodic Reporting**:Ensure the prompt and timely completion of daily monitoring, and monthly and quarterly tasks and reports for both internal and Head Office.
- **Data Quality Management**:Identify and address data quality issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders including Treasury and Management.
- **Stress Testing**:Conduct liquidity and market risk stress tests to evaluate the bank’s resilience under various scenarios.
- **Policy and Process Review**:Maintain and periodically review policies and processes to ensure alignment with local and Head Office requirements.
- **Analytical Support**:Provide analytical support to relevant stakeholders, identifying risk drivers and assessing their impact on liquidity positions.
- **Contingency Planning**:Regularly review and update the Contingency Funding Plan to ensure preparedness for liquidity challenges.
- **Ad-Hoc Tasks**:Undertake any additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
**Job Requirements**:
- **Educational Qualification**:A recognized degree in a relevant field.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 6 years of experience in market, liquidity, or interest risk within the banking industry.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**:Strong understanding of market, liquidity, and interest risk regulatory requirements.
- **Skills**:Meticulous, versatile, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently under mínimal supervision and pressure.
- **Technical Proficiency**:Proficient in data handling and using VBA and other data processing tools. Familiarity with Bloomberg system is preferred.
- **Languages**:Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and Head Office colleagues.
