Singapore NHB National Heritage Board Full time

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director (Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset), you will be part of the Finance Operations team responsible for the management of the accounts payable, claims and fixed asset management functions to ensure efficient, accurate and proper payments and accounting processes.

[What you will be doing]
- Assist in the management of accounts payable, staff claims, treasury, heritage materials and fixed asset management for the Board to ensure accurate, proper and timely processing and accounting of payments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts with timely resolution and assist in following up with clarifications.
- Assist in the management of access rights for financial system and participate in key system enhancement and integration to ensure robust and reliable financial systems.
- Support in the formulation and review of policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure efficient and effective management and accounting of payments and fixed assets.
- Prepare and review NHB’s payments and fixed assets. Aid in the management of financial operational performance, using data analytics and visualisation tools, to support and drive improvements and uphold governance.
- Engage and provide advice to relevant internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

[What we are looking for]
- Background in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Finance.
- Proactive, meticulous, and possesses strong analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Workday system, knowledge in data analytics tools like Tableau is an advantage.
- Prior Finance experience in the Public Sector is an advantage.
