**Job Summary**:
The Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible for managing all cost-related aspects of construction projects. This includes cost planning, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and financial reporting. The QS ensures project costs are optimized, quality standards are maintained, and regulatory compliance—especially with BCA guidelines—is strictly followed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets.
- Conduct cost feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare tender and contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities.
- Assess and negotiate tender submissions from contractors and suppliers.
- Source materials and services at competitive pricing while ensuring quality.
- Administer contracts in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Handle correspondence and documentation for contract-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with current BCA guidelines, codes of practice, and submission procedures.
- Coordinate with consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure approvals and certifications are secured timely.
- Provide cost advice to project teams and clients.
- Attend site and project meetings.
- Monitor cost variations and support claims evaluation.
- Track expenditures and prepare regular financial reports.
- Reconcile and close out final accounts with subcontractors and vendors.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the Singapore construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of BCA processes, submission requirements, and regulatory framework.
- Proficient in QS software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, Bluebeam).
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and contracts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
