**What the day will look like**

Responsibility and oversight over all Aon’s Construction and Infrastructure (C&I) business across the Asian region. The focus will be on risk specialist advisory services enabling client retention and future revenue growth. This will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing value-added services to meet their requirements.
- Service and support a portfolio of corporate clients across Asia in the C&I sector with all associated day-to-day account management.
- Through thought leadership and industry expertise provide technical construction advice, insurance consulting services, due diligence risk reviews, tender responses and placement support to clients and in-country colleagues.
- Work with country and regional growth leads to develop and maintain a sales pipeline with the intention of driving profitable growth of the C&I sector in Asia, while also maintaining ongoing client satisfaction, retention and profitability.
- Partner country, regional management and service teams to deliver the widest practical range of products and services available from Aon for the C&I client base.
- Work and collaborate with other Industry Specialties and Specialty Products, in particular with Natural Resources, to leverage synergies and deliver comprehensive solutions to our clients in the C&I sector.
- Develop, maintain and manage senior relationships with key C&I clients, prospects and markets.
- Identify updates and key trends from C&I markets and keep up to date with the C&I sector for clients and prospects.
- Work with in-country operations in the training and development of in-country staff, and the establishment and delivery of best practice service standards for the C&I client base.
- Support claims administration, management and advocacy.
- Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders within the Aon network to always deliver our value proposition in an Aon United manner.
- Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time

**How this opportunity is different**

The C&I team develops risk mitigation and insurance strategies to protect construction projects and infrastructure owners over the entire lifecycle of a project and particularly during the transition from construction to operation. By effectively designing and implementing risk management solutions, C&I helps its clients deliver bankable infrastructure projects whose risk profile improves sponsors access to finance. C&I provides risk advisory and insurance syndication solutions for a multitude of companies or stakeholders involved in the C&I sector.

The role is across the entire Asian region and across hundreds of C&I clients so you will benefit from a large and growing relationship network. At Aon, we believe in allowing autonomy within the C&I team to develop the business and interact with our clients and colleagues.

Aside from operating within the specialist C&I practice, you will have benefit of collaborating with a highly experienced and knowledgeable Natural Resources practice. Support will come from the Head of Construction & Infrastructure in Asia and the senior leaders in the Commercial Risk Solutions department.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Previous experience in the C&I insurance sector essential - minimum 10 years.
- Previous experience in the Construction industry as practitioner preferred.
- Minimum requirement for registration with MAS or such similar qualification acceptable to MAS (BCP, PGI, CommGI).
- Demonstrated track record of making executive business decision-maker relationships, advanced negotiation, deal structuring, and sales contracts preferred.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
- Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
- Proficient skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
