Brand Communications, Director

Due to expanding revenue streams and a strong market grip, Steelcase is seeking an experience Brand Communications Director to join the company and be based at the Singapore location.
The main aspects of this newly created position will include
- You will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of global communication strategies in identified local and regional markets, ensuring the delivery of globally consistent and geographically relevant brand touchpoint experiences that result in the success of their identified markets, APAC as an entity, and the global enterprise overall.
You will collaborate closely with other members of the brands communication team, both regionally and globally to ensure local market input and implementation of events and experiences that contribute to their market success and meet global brand communication objectives. You will Acts as a coordinator and a single point of contact between the Communication team and the respective market (China, India, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea) while working closely with sales leaders and their managers.
Ensure the successful implementation of key global brand initiatives within the regional markets, including but not limited to:
- Campaigns for product launches
- Any product focus campaign
- Local audience events both in-person and remote
- Steelcase events + conferences
- Global Brand Message (providing local market input)
- Global Sales Tools (tailored for local market relevance)
- Web and social media management with dedicated Communications team (leveraging global direction + content)
Also has responsibility for:
- Provide local market knowledge and awareness to the regional brand communication team, while working closely with them to ensure local market needs are met during the development of key messages, tools, publications, customer stories and key audience experiences.
- Develop annual strategic plan for local market that aligns with brand and corporate objectives.
- Develop and maintain annual marketing budgets for local market that align with corporate direction
- Implement brand events and experience plans that deliver to annual brand com plan, on time and on budget, and align with global objectives
- Monitor activity against plan and budget and provide regular reports on progress to EMEA brand communications team.
- Continually monitor and assess new events/conferences opportunities that should be integrated into the portfolio.

- Sales experience within the expected business sector confirmed,
- Challenge and Entrepreneur spirit, strong leadership,
- Very strong interpersonal skills (listening ability, empathy),
- Able to take decisions and to work within a team.
**Education/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Evidence of advanced technical, creative, or business writing skills and experience or event design experience
- At least 8 years of experience in regional brand communications, public relations, advertising, sales, or related industry experience
