**Job Description**:
We are currently embarking on a significant growth plan to expand our business and are looking for an AI Automation Engineer Intern to help build and fine-tune custom GPTs and AI-driven automation pipelines. You will work closely with product teams and engineers to develop AI-powered tools that streamline documentation, acceptance criteria generation, and codebase refactoring within a digital exchange system.This is an opportunity to work on real-world AI-powered automation projects, gain hands-on experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-driven engineering workflows, and collaborate with top engineers and product leaders in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will receive mentorship and contribute directly to the AI automation of a cutting-edge digital exchange system.

**Responsibilities**:
Create and fine-tune custom GPTs to automate PRD writing, acceptance criteria generation, and software documentation.
Develop AI-driven pipelines to process and analyze codebases for refactoring.
Work with Java Spring, RESTful APIs, and backend systems to enhance software automation.
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate AI-driven workflows.
Track and manage work using Agile Kanban, providing regular updates to the VP of Engineering.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Experience or strong interest in AI automation, including LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RAG.
Coding experience is a plus (Python, Java Spring, RESTful APIs).
Ability to analyze, optimize, and refactor codebases using AI-driven workflows.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) and engineering collaboration tools.
**Bonus**: Understanding of exchange/trading systems and financial technology.
