- The Technician is responsible for perform follow methods and sequence of operations in performing cable routing, electronics installation, and mechanical assembly according to work instructions and procedures.
This position reports to the Assembly Lead and is part of the QTOF Production Operations located in Singapore Marsiling site and will be an on-site role.
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Perform a wide variety of mechanical, electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on high precision instrument according to work instructions and procedures.
- Provide feedback to support groups for improvement in sequencing or assembly method and work in production improvement projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance of operations within area of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirement, Quality Management System and safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Minimum NITEC in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics preferred with 1 year of relevant work experience or 5 years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
- Good electro-mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong team skills, good communication skills and attention to detail are required.
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Laboratory experience operating analytical chemistry equipment (organic or inorganic)
