**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Housekeeping Manager oversee, lead and motivate the Housekeeping team to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent guest experience and high standards of cleanliness throughout the property.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
1. Manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel.

2. Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner.

3. Roster, distribute and delegate room and cleaning assignments to Housekeeping team members.

4. Plan and conduct staff meetings to ensure open communication among team members.

5. Monitor guest satisfaction and address feedback efficiently and effectively.

6. Manage, train and co-ordinate all housekeeping personnel to ensure they are performing duties (e.g., cleaning, health & safety compliance, mini-bar management etc.) correctly, efficiently and to the best of their ability.

7. Keep abreast of advances in housekeeping field to improve productivity.

8. To constantly look at ways to improve operations and implement changes to provide better services to guests.

9. Ensure Housekeeping policies and procedures, and training are in place, maintained and adhered to.

10. Manage labour, conduct regular inventory checks & audits, and develop progression plans.

11. Purchase according to stock & inventory control, complying with departmental budget.

12. Maintain working relationship with vendors and suppliers (e.g., pest control, landscaping etc.) to ensure effective quality products and services.

13. Any other duties as assigned.

**KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Familiar with Housekeeping operations.

2. Hotel Management Diploma or ‘A’ Level qualification or equivalent.

3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity of hotel, with at least 2 years in managerial capacity.

**SKILLS**:
1. Good personal and customer service skills.

2. Computer literacy and office administration skills.

3. Proficient in Microsoft software, Outlook, and other hotel systems.

4. Excellent training, instructional, and leadership skills.

**Salary**: $3,200.00 - $4,000.00 per month
