**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers and related systems.
- Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and uptime to ensure reliability.
- Perform routine system checks, backups, and patch updates.
- Support user accounts, permissions, and access control across Linux environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues as needed.
- Help implement and maintain security best practices for Linux systems.
- Collaborate with senior administrators and DevOps teams on deployment and configuration tasks.
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.

**Required Skills**:

- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat).
- Familiarity with command-line tools, shell scripting, and package management.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH).
- Understanding of file systems, permissions, and system logs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow processes and work collaboratively in a team environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with virtualization tools (VMware, VirtualBox, or KVM).
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Basic understanding of automation tools like Ansible or Puppet.
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
