Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. **Responsibilities**:
The position is part of the Anti-Money Laundering / Know Your Customer (“AML/KYC”) - Customer Onboarding and Review (“CORE”) team within the COO Office in IBG. The CORE team is a centralized specialist team established to scale independent, quality and effective management of money laundering / terrorist financing risks during onboarding and Customer Due Diligence (“CDD”) reviews.
**Role**: Account Activity Review Analyst for CDD Review of Financial Institution Customers
**Responsibilities**:
- To conduct account activity review for existing customers during periodic and trigger reviews
- To conduct monthly account reviews for clients under the Digital Asset Ecosystem
- To work directly (or through the Relationship Managers and KYC Specialists) with existing customers for timely and prompt completion of reviews
- To perform KYC Screening and review/assess KYC screening results
- To escalate potential risk concerns in a timely manner and make risk calls where appropriate.
- To be proactive in identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and AML effectiveness and suggest viable solutions.
**Requirements**:
- A degree holder with minimum 3-5 years of AML / KYC experience preferably in cryptocurrency or payment service provider company
- Sensitive to operational and financial crime risks
- Ability to work with large datasets in Microsoft Excel using PivotTable and Macro
- Ability to multitask and manage a high number of priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with and manage stakeholders’ expectations across different functions
- Ability and has interest in process / workflow improvements
- Open-minded and able to prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Can-do attitude with strong customer/user-centric mindset
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactively delivering solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of MAS 626 on CDD requirements
- Familiar with screening tools (e.g. Dow Jones Factiva, World Check)
- ICA or ACAMS professional certification is a plus
