Singapore WBCSD ASIA PACIFIC LTD. Full time

**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
The Global Platform for Sustainable natural Rubber (GPSNR) Membership outreach and Communications Associate will be responsible for appropriate approval, onboarding and management of GPSNR Members. They will also be responsible for producing communications assets for member relations as well as managing GPSNR’s member related financial accounts in liaison with GPSNR external finance team.

**TASKS**:
Duties include but will not be limited to the following:
1. Handling of Membership inquiries and members’ feedback

2. Creating communications processes and assets like newsletters, visuals and infographics that would support members with a deeper understanding of GPSNR projects

3. Supporting communications campaigns in association with member communications teams and external partners

4. Contributing to the organisation of member related virtual and in-person events like webinars, General Assemblies, meetings etc.

6. Facilitate links and processes between the Secretariat team and the (external) finance team

7. Assist in the collection of membership fees and closure of debts / outstanding fees

8. Serve as the point of contact for existing members for general inquiries, including briefing members on Working Groups structure, goals, operations, as well as pro-actively supporting membership engagement on approaching deadlines

9. Logistical set up for Working Groups meetings (meeting set up including interpretation).

10. Quality Management System for internal documents

11. In collaboration with other departments, manage and continuously update GPSNR institutional memory and knowledge library

12. In collaboration with other departments, provide support in the planning, execution and follow up of events, workshops and activities for the Department

Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.

**DESIRED COMPETENCES & QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**

❑ Relevant Bachelor Degree.

**Work Experience**

❑ Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a communications and external relations; experience in administrative processes will be an added advantage Experience working within Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives will be an advantage.

**Technical & Professional Knowledge**:
❑ Ability to organize, multi-task, and complete projects with time deadlines

❑ Service-oriented mindset.

**Essential Skills**

❑ Excellent communication and organization.

❑ Attention to detail and astute diagnostic skills.

❑ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks without a project manager

❑ Ability to work collaboratively with team members and a project manager

❑ Experience working with cross-functional teams in an unstructured and international environment

❑ Ability to learn quickly and to operate in a fluid, fast-paced environment

❑ Proven ability to overcome obstacles

❑ Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English with great communication skills.

Knowledge of Mandarin, Thai, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, French, or Spanish will be an advantage.
