**The Role**
This role is responsible for providing clinical support, training and education for the Infection Prevention & Surgical Solutions (IP&SS) portfolio in Asia. Asia comprises Japan, Korea, ANZ, India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam as well as other emerging markets.
Internal stakeholders include Area and Country Portfolio Marketers, Country Clinical Specialists, Clinical Sales Specialists, Medical Affairs, as well as Integrated Marketing/Campaign team.
This role reports to the Asia MedSurg Portfolio Marketing Director.
**Role Accountabilities**
**Product Commercialization**
- Collaborate with Area Portfolio Marketers by providing clinical input to inform marketing strategies, product value proposition, target audience clinical concerns, clinical evidence and educational contents.
- Support new product introduction by working with Area Portfolio Marketers to gather market/customer insights, develop and implement effective launch plans for product adoption and utilization.
**Product, Application and Clinical Evidence Training to HCPs**
- Develop training contents and in-service programs for customers, leveraging global approved materials tailored to area/country needs.
**Product, Application and Clinical Evidence Training to Commercial Teams**
- Partner with Commercial Excellence team to devise curriculum and programs to assess and strengthen product and clinical knowledge of our commercial teams.
- Ensure the Country Commercial teams are updated and trained on the latest clinical evidence, clinical trends, practices and guidelines, as well as competitive products.
**Clinical Support for Commercial Teams**
- Support local clinical specialists and sales team in their account conversion activities by providing clinical expertise and assistance, where appropriate.
**KOL/HCP Interactions**
- Build network of product champions/influencers and work collaboratively with Marketing and Medical Affairs to cultivate and strengthen KOL pool in Asia.
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, professional associations to stay abreast of trends and developments in the IP&SS related fields. Translate these knowledge and insights into actionable clinical strategies and plans.
- Provide input on Asia clinical practices, customer needs and concerns to R&D for new product ideas or enhancements.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in the medical device industry.
- Relevant degree and credentials in fields such as nursing, clinical, medical, biomedical engineering preferred.
- Practical experience in related disciplines such as Critical Care, OR, ER would be advantageous.
- Public speaking skills, professional in delivering effective and engaging training and presentations.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in second Asian language would be advantageous.
- Independent, resourceful, able to influence and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
- Business oriented.
- Organized, hands-on, attention to details, ability to multi-task.
- Willingness to travel as required to support business objectives.
