What will you do?
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to the restaurant’s menu and standards.
- Ensure that ingredients are properly prepared, measured, and organized for use during service.
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality and appearance of dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to senior chefs or restaurant manager.
- Assist with food plating and presentation during busy service periods.
- Help with cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces regularly.
- Ensure that all food is stored properly, labeling and dating products when necessary.
- Support the kitchen team during service by completing prep work, assisting with dishes, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
