Regional Procurement Director
**Job Description Summary**
To lead a large on-account team of high performing procurement professionals for a globally recognized banking & financial services sector client to support and enable the achievement of their regional real estate goals. As the supply chain SME, you will be the key point of contact for all related activities and be responsible for driving strategy and demonstrating value to your account leadership peers and key client stakeholders alike.
**About the Role**:
- A focus on the building of strong, strategic supplier partnerships and the development of innovative procurement strategies that drive operational and financial benefits whilst operating within a stringent risk management framework.
- Make effective use of robust contract management disciplines, key performance indicators and service level agreements to mitigate risk and ensure high quality contract outcomes.
- Oversee the category management, strategic sourcing and supplier management activities for all Facility Management (FM) spend categories.
- Work closely with the account leadership team to support the delivery of benefits via the formulation and execution of category objectives, priorities and plans of action.
**About You**:
- An experienced (10+yrs) and strong leader with excellent communication skills and an innate ability and desire to inspire and motivate teams in a high pressure, target driven environment.
- A strong knowledge of effective supplier risk management techniques and the ability to operate effectively within a highly regulated environment.
- An ability to not only lead but to also get involved in the detail when required
- An innovative thinker with a strong understanding of the regional procurement landscape (APAC) and Facility Management (FM) industry.
- Well-organized with excellent negotiation skills and a sound understanding of all financial and contractual concepts.
