Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, and behaviors of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users. In this role, you'll partner with the Payments UX Director, APAC, and UX leads to drive organizational strategy and delivery for the team with a focus on driving collaboration and alignment across Product Areas to deliver cohesive experiences. Whether it is paying online with Autofill, using tap and pay in stores, or using the Google Pay app, the Payments team at Google is focused on making payments simple, seamless, and secure. In addition to consumer payment technologies, the Payments team also powers the money movement between Google and its consumers and businesses. **Responsibilities**: - Develop strategies for UX programs by performing strategic analysis and providing data-driven recommendations that drive the business forward by proposing actionable plans for optimization. - Identify potential pain points across the organization and oversee efforts to create informed processes and/or programs to address them. - Advocate the establishment, integration and reporting of key UX metrics that drive a culture of user-centered development and demonstrate UX impact based on organizational needs. - Establish the strategic vision and long term success benchmarks across product spaces and influence the definition of broader organizational programs. - Provide operational leadership across UX teams to scale efforts that optimize resourcing, time, and funding investment.
