Senior Market Research Analyst, Cross Border Team

**Job Description**:

- You will work with a cross border team of traders and analysts in providing base metals expertise and insights to deliver customised industry knowledge and expert advisory.
- To manage and monitor complex commodity position reporting, reconciliation and update the cross border team expeditiously.
- Conduct daily fundamental analysis and forecast specific short and long term supply and demand of Iron Ore and base metal products.
- Assist with business development and strategic activities through the provision of accurate and insightful market analysis.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and standardization between the different regions and the overall work processes between the cross border team.
- To work closely with the local and China trading teams to forecast and identify changes in trade flows and identify trading opportunities.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 years experience in base Metals research and analysis with solid contact network in China market.
- Excellent knowledge of the value chains for base metals and iron ore.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and able to write analytical reports in Chinese.
- Analytical and logical thinker.
- Excellent peolpe and coomunication skills.
- Highly adaptable and ability to work in a multi-culture team.
