**Assistant Manager - Sea Freight Operations (OC-EX)
- Leads and oversees the smooth and efficient operations of the sea-freight export and import operations;
- Provides customer service and handles enquiries or complaints of export and import sea shipments;
- Initiates action to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity and controls further processing on non-conforming product until unsatisfactory condition has been corrected;
- Implementation of corrective and preventive actions;
- Ensures efficient and prompt sea cargo shipments;
- Liaises with liner carriers on space bookings and rates negotiation;
- Warehouse and transport management with vendors;
- Process management and SOP preparation;
- Handling of cargo claims with customers and Partners;
- Liaises closely with overseas offices to arrange and coordinate transit shipments;
- Monitors on prompt billing to customers on all sea freight shipments handled.
**Job Requirements**:
- 2 to 8 years’ experience in a sea freight operation, FCL/LCL and NVOCC;
- Diploma level or higher;
- Knowledge of Export & Import Customs regulations, clearance procedures and Container Freight Station operations;
- Computer literate.
