We are the leader in well construction and production. Our innovative physical and digital solutions improve efficiency, production and maximize reservoir value. The International Logistics team support the Operations team in the delivery of custom clearance of goods.

As a Logistics Specialist - Chemicals, you’ll manage the transportation and logistics of goods to and from our suppliers as well as customers. Collaborating with other teams (e.g Purchasing and Customer Service) and you’ll facilitate the efficient service delivery for customers. You will ensure your duties are carried out in compliance with Baker Hughes and Health & Safety practices.

As a Logistics Specialist - Chemicals, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods.
- Managing logistics costs to meet budgets and Operation Plans.
- Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes in the own field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Contributing to the project as a team member.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Have bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in logistics from chemical manufacturing industry
- Have knowledge about license required for chemicals transportation and government regulations etc.
- Have ability to work independently.
- Have good problem-solving skills.
- Be a team player and display good oral and written communication skills.
- Be able to demonstrate experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
