**Key Responsibilities**:

- Quantitative Research Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of quantitative models to analyze various asset classes, market conditions, and economic indicators. Ensure the research team utilizes advanced statistical and mathematical techniques to inform investment decisions.
- Data-Driven Strategy Development: Collaborate with portfolio managers to create and execute investment strategies grounded in quantitative analysis, including risk assessment and return forecasting.
- Market Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously track global financial markets, employing quantitative methods to identify trends, assess risks, and uncover opportunities.
- Portfolio Oversight: Provide quantitative insights into portfolio construction and risk management, utilizing models to optimize asset allocation and performance.
- Client Reporting: Prepare and present detailed quantitative reports and market analyses to clients, stakeholders, and senior management, effectively communicating complex data insights.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of quantitative analysts, fostering a culture of analytical rigor and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
- Experience: Extensive experience in quantitative investment research, with a proven track record in asset management or related financial sectors.
- Derivatives: Extensive experience in derivatives such as options, futures and structure products.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in programming languages and tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, and experience with financial data platforms like Bloomberg.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capabilities in quantitative analysis, including statistical modeling, econometrics, and data interpretation.
- Communication Abilities: Ability to convey complex quantitative concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing quantitative research teams.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential, as the role involves frequent communication with Chinese stakeholders in Beijing.
