**Are You The One?**
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director/VP, Maritime BD & Partnerships to lead the business development and execution of our strategic partnerships within the global maritime/shipping industry. This role will be instrumental in identifying, cultivating, and managing key relationships with shipping companies, maritime service providers, and other relevant stakeholders to drive the adoption of our innovative fintech solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Business Development & Sales:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, including C-level executives, HR departments, and procurement teams.-
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate and close deals with partners, and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing.-
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners and opportunities.-
Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of the maritime/shipping industry, identifying key trends, challenges, and opportunities for MatchMove's fintech solutions.-
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the maritime sector, focusing on B2B2X partnerships with shipping companies and their seafarer workforce.-
- Identify and prioritize target segments within the maritime industry, including specific shipping companies, crew management companies, and other relevant stakeholders.-
- Partnership Management:
- Manage existing partnerships, ensuring successful integration and ongoing support.-
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of partnerships and identify areas for improvement.-
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, fostering long-term collaboration and mutual success.-
- Industry Representation:
- Represent MatchMove at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.-
- Build and maintain a strong professional network within the maritime/shipping industry.-
- Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes.**Requirements**:
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within the maritime industry.- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the maritime industry, including its key players, challenges, and operational processes.- Fintech Expertise: Good understanding of fintech solutions, particularly in areas such as digital payments, remittances, and financial inclusion.- Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.- Negotiation & Closing: Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to successfully navigate complex deals.- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies, and adapt to changing market conditions.- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
