Finance Assistant

1. Entering transactions into Excel spreadsheets and performing monthly Bank Reconciliations;
2. Look into queries arising from cash and credit card transactions;
3. Processing payment of invoices, preparing bank deposits, reimbursing expenses/claims and keeping petty cash floats;
4. Assist in producing periodic accounting reports required;
5. Assist in preparing and consolidation of annual budgets and budgets utilisation;
6. Processing and submitting medical insurance claims;
7. Assisting with audits, facts finding and resolving discrepancies;
8. Perform any other office tasks as required, such as filing, processing mails, archiving finance documents;
9. Assist the Finance Administrator when required.
**Job Requirements**
a) Minimum LCCI Bookkeeping/GCE 'O' Level/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent;
b) Minimum of 1-2 year (s) of work experience;
c) Proficient with computers and MS Office and good typing skills;
d) Good time management and verbal/written communication skills;
e) Experience in using ExChequer Accounting software will be an added advantage;
f) Able to be professional, ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive;
g) Commitment to working efficiently and accurately;
h) Being person orientated will be an added advantage.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
