The Deputy General Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and HR aspects of the aerospace cabin interior company. The incumbent will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the efficient functioning of the organization, meeting business objectives, and maintaining high standards of performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety in the production and delivery of aerospace cabin interior products.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to streamline workflows and meet project deadlines.
- Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all operational activities.
2. Financial Management:
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes in collaboration with the finance team.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and key performance indicators (KPIs), and take proactive measures to address variances.
- Analyze cost structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-control measures where appropriate.
- Review financial reports and provide strategic recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
3. Human Resources Management:
- Lead the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, teamwork, and professional development.
- Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and labor laws.
4. Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide leadership and guidance to department heads and teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and quality assurance, to drive organizational success.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (12+ years) in a senior management role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry, with a focus on operations, finance, and HR.
- Strong understanding of aerospace cabin interior products, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management.
- Solid knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices in talent management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in Japanese Language as need to communicate with Japan office.
