Product Quality Engineer

**Summary**
- Participate in post release product continuation improvement project through reviews, design verification and validation, monitor results and drive risk ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required.
- Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing, materials controls through trends analysis, uses of tools and data. Passionate with Technical Hands-On activity (Software & Hardware) and be responsible for post release product analysis and preparation of analysis report for customer communication.
- Prepare and present regularly on the project quality status. Drive continuous improvement and standardization of best practices in the organization to achieve best-in-class quality. Support the organization Quality Management System

**Essential Functions**:

- Support post release product design change or improvement process which includes validation/verification of product.
- Drive quality assurance/control tools within the scope of the Design Quality Assurance in the project with the team
- Ensures quality and manufacturing process readiness before start of mass production to attain a flawless launch.
- Influence and implement lessons learned in other/new products, espectively new or running projects.
- Identify and manage Critical-To-Quality (CTQ’s) parameters and contribute ideas for innovation and continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Provide technical support in engineering design review, drawing and specification review to drive risk mitigation ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required
- Uses reliability engineering principles and tools to develop test setups according to change requirement for Reliability Laboratory testing to support projects requirement. Responsible to support and execute reliability testing.
- Lead necessary activities for corrective action and closely work with various stakeholders to drive resolution Reads circuit schematics and layouts,
- Compile and generate comprehensive Product Analysis Report in a timely manner and Responsible for monitoring product returns trend and work with production/product/design to drive continuous improvement
- Possess experience to utilise tests methodology in Industry (SEM, EDX, FTIR etc)
- Seek and implement process improvement ideas in primary work area.
- Focus on activities that add value and streamlining activities for increased efficiencies.

**Requirements**:

- B.SC in Electronic and Electrical Engineering with prior applicable experience desired
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a hands-on role such as Failure Analysis in an electronic environment.
- Experience in a Quality or Design function in a Product Development environment is preferred.
- Must have a broad technical background with the ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers across a wide variety of issues as well as internationally.
- Good understanding of Electronic Manufacturing, Assembly and Test processes
- Able to read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals with basic understanding of semiconductor device knowledge, IC assembly / package and test process.
- Able to use necessary equipment to perform failure analysis and competent on relevant test procedures
- Knowledge in analytical techniques such as bench verification, sample preparation for failure analysis
- Basic knowledge on working with SAP and JIRA environment is a plus
