**YOUR ROLE**
As a Department Manager, together with your team, you will take ownership of your sport department with the sole purpose of Making Sports Accessible to the Many. Through this, you will help to gain market share, allowing you to work closely with customers/users to build your business, ensuring the best products for their needs.

You will be but not limited to;
- A TEAM PLAYER: You will lead by example, share your experience & knowledge in order to develop and groom your team successfully.
- DIGITAL FIRST: Our vision in Singapore, is to have at least 50% online Turnover, therefore your priority will be to develop digital business.
- CUSTOMER ORIENTED: Customers/Users will be your PRIORITY. At Decathlon, we believe they are Satisfied or Satisfied.
- PROJECT DRIVEN: You will ensure your team builds their local sport project and contribute to the City Project of the Department’s Sport.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

I define my Team, hiring the best profiles to achieve my department’s local sport project.
I develop my teams’ skills(job & behavioural) and manage their performance.

I manage my team on the shop floor focusing on being available for customers and perfecting the layout inc stock

availability.

I develop talent and autonomy of my team members through monthly Individual Meetings.

I ensure all team members have an individual mission and a development plan for the year which I regularly debrief.
I communicate with my team on the strategies & vision for the sport.
- **I identify the market of my sport and I contribute to the development of the City Sport Project**
I study my passion sport, I identify all new tendencies and the evolution of my offer, share innovations around my sport with users and I ensure my team is involved in the development and implementation.
I encourage the discovery of the sport practice amongst my teammates, customers and sport users in my catchment area.
I create long lasting relationships with clubs and associations using all available channels online & offline.
- **I choose my offer and I ensure dynamic, commercial layout adapted and implanted following the Self Informed Best Choice(SIBC).**
I build my Local Sport Project of my passion sport.
I build the best commercial offer with my Offer & Supply Team, and my sport mass plan in collaboration with my leader.
I’m responsible for layout of my sport and I ensure the availability of the offer through reliability and efficient reception of my stock.
I know the Brand strategies and I practice and communicate them to my Team.
I am connected with the commercial actions to take in order to satisfy the highest number of users via omnichannel actions.
I manage my customer reviews.
- **I guarantee the safety & security of my customers and my store**
I ensure the safety of my customers & team mates.
I know my role in the event of an evacuation.
I’m Duty Manager for my store and take responsibility for the operation in my unit when validated as a Duty Manager by my Business Unit Leader.
- **I manage my Profit and Loss account to ensure durable business**
I set my yearly economic objectives for the market share growth and profit.

I review my business on a daily basis and create action plans.

I manage the achievement of these objectives.

I guarantee sustainability of my project through an accurate and regular forecasting.

I contribute to build the business plan of my Sport on City Level.
