About the Role

Join us as our Analyst, Stewardship and Research

**Responsibilities**:
- Implementing the investee companies engagement and proxy voting strategy, target operating model and processes- Conducting active engagements with global investee companies in the Energy, Materials, Industrials, Utilities, Power Generation sectors to understand and assess their transition pathways and net zero ambitions.- Providing in-depth analysis and guidance to our group-wide research analysts on how to effectively assess the impact of transition and physical climate risks on our investee companies and recommendations, using climate data resources and analytics. Focus sectors: Energy, Materials, Utilities, Industrials, Power Generation.- Providing updates on the latest developments in stewardship-related regulatory requirements and industry practices to the Investments team.- Analyzing and assessing the proxy voting actions of the Portfolio Management teams are aligned and consistent with AIA Group’s net zero, SBTi targets and other sustainable investing objectives.- Consolidating and analyzing the results of all engagement and proxy voting activities, summarizing the key takeaways and recommending the next steps.- Monitoring all equity research analysts across all AMCs/BUs in relation to research quality, performance and productivity. Working with Group Investment Middle Office team to assess the quantitative data analytics on the performance of each individual Equity Research Analyst for Group and CIOs on a monthly basis. Focus: China, Thailand, Philippines- A strong teammate with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, they will also work closely across business functions, asset classes, entities across AIA Group.-
- Excellent skills in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin preferred.

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher- Minimum 10 years work experience in the ESG, sustainability and investments industry- Certifications/licenses - CFMAS, CFA Certificate in ESG Investing- Strong teammate with solid interpersonal skills- Knowledge of relevant regulations- Excellent Bloomberg, Excel, Powerpoint skills preferred
