**Boeing Global Services’ (BGS) **International Government and Defence (IG&D) organization is seeking an in-country **Program Management Specialist** to support all in country effort on sustaining Boeing platforms. This role will be responsible for the capture and/or execution as well as day to day relationship with the customer. The individual will interact with a wide variety of organizations, functions and business units such as international government and industry representatives, and program team located in the USA, Boeing’s International non-fully integrated subsidiary units, and Boeing Global Sales and Marketing. This position is based in **Singapore**.
**Position Responsibilities**:
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Act as a liaison between Singapore and Boeing US teams.
- Managing engagement plan and engaging with key stakeholders to provide insight into Singapore initiatives
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
- Establishes and uses Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to manage budgets, maintain schedule, identify and mitigate risks and issues, build efficiencies for scale into program plans, and develop program goals.
- Develops and delivers emerging business proposals to meet developing customer needs, and creates program plans and policies to execute newly signed contracts.
- Develops, recognizes, and motivates sustainment team members.
- Travel in accordance with business needs.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management skills, tools and process with the Singapore government and industry.
- Singapore citizenship is required.
- Experience leading cross functional projects and interfacing with customers, cultivating outcome-oriented business relationships.
- Experience working with and/or managing contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Experience creating presentations/briefings for Senior Leadership.
- Effective communication & presentation skills, sharp business acumen, and the ability to work independently and adapt to ambiguity.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience working with the Singapore defense forces and MINDEF
- Demonstrated working knowledge of military aircraft sustainment.
**Typical Education/Experience**:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelors) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD + 9 years’ related work experience, Masters + 12 years’ related work experience).In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
