The Manager/Senior Manager (Outreach, Marketing and Communications) plays a key role in the Outreach team to support the Division’s key task of attracting suitable students for admission to the Singapore Institute of Technology. He/she is responsible in leading and executing the content strategy of all marketing and communications collateral for student recruitment. He/she will also be expected to assist the Head of Outreach, Marketing and Communications in driving outreach initiatives and organising the Division’s flagship events including Open House, information sessions and learning journeys. This position is also expected to support other core functions of the Division, which include admission operations, financial assistance and scholarships.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a content strategy that is aligned with the University’s reputation and addresses both Division and University’s goals which includes producing clear compelling content and using the right channels to engage with target audiences.
- Analyse content marketing data, perform content audits and content gap analysis through conducting audience surveys and focus groups to identify trends, missing topics and assess the performance of existing content.
- Oversees the production of all marketing and communications collateral aimed at prospective students and other target audiences.
- Works with Head of Outreach, Marketing and Communications, SIT faculty, Overseas University Partners and other staff in the university to formulate marketing strategies and drive outreach initiatives to attract suitable students.
- Leads on event organisation for Admissions flagship events, including University Open House, curated information sessions and learning journeys
- Guide, mentor and supervise junior team members
**Job Requirements**
- A degree from a good University, or relevant skills or experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience at a similar level, with marketing communications or editorial/publications exposure.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role with at least 1 direct report or managing freelance writers.
- Strong communication (e.g. oral/written/public speaking) and interpersonal skills with proven experience in project management.
- Strong data analytical skills and eye for details
- Ability to multitask and adapt to change, while working with dynamic stakeholders and tight deadlines preferred.
- Experience in student or talent recruitment will be an advantage.
