**Details of the Division and Team**:
KYC Operations services the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank (CB/IB) globally and is part of Deutsche Bank’s first line of defence against financial crime, mitigating Know Your Client (KYC) and Sanctions risk while ensuring client relationships are efficiently on-boarded and maintained.

The KYC Key Operating Standards (KOS) & Training Team sits within KYC Operations, and is responsible for ensuring that all KYC Operations production teams have the knowledge and skills that they need in order to comply with KYC and Sanctions Policy requirements. The team works closely with the relevant second line of defence departments to understand such requirements, and to then articulate them in such a way that they can be implemented into process and technology within operations.

The team also provides policy/KOS and process training for new joiners, during change initiatives, and on an as-needed basis to address problem areas in KYC due diligence. You will play a key role within the management group of the KOS & Training Team, managing the team responsibilities within the APAC region.

**Your key responsibilities**:
You will cover the APAC region for KYC Operations (covering Singapore, Honk Kong, Australia, China, Malaysia and 9 other jurisdictions) on all policy/KOS matters, with responsibility for:

- Ensuring that the regional KYC Ops production teams have the knowledge and skills that they need to be able to comply with Global and Local KYC and Sanctions due diligence requirements
- Understanding and being able to articulate the due diligence requirements in global KYC and Sanctions KOS documents, as well as local stricter requirements as set out in Local Addenda
- Answering queries from production staff on an ad-hoc basis, during policy changes and critical file deadlines, and in addressing thematic QA issues
- Managing the APAC KYC Ops KOS & Training Team
- Supporting the Global KYC Ops KOS & Training Team in globally-applicable projects and initiatives as they arise

**Your skills and experience**:

- Strong organisational skills, with a proven record in working under pressure whilst successfully meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communications skills which is particularly important in writing policy and procedural documentation, and an ability to articulate requirements to diverse stakeholder groups
- Ability to work independently and learn new practices and procedures quickly
- Attention to detail, tenacity and a commitment to high quality results is a must
