Position Overview
LaSalle Investment Management is currently seeking a business systems analyst with both a real estate and technology background to drive the implementation, enhancement, and support of their asset management and accounting systems and processes. This position will sit between the business users and the IT service providers and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, drive system improvements, and ensure effective utilization of system features and functionality. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the accounting and finance function, a solid technology foundation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and working knowledge of effective project management practices.

**Responsibilities**:
Foster strong relationships within the business to gain a thorough understanding of the business goals, operations, and challenges.
Gather business requirements, documents processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to define system improvements.
Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose and implement solutions to ensure system stability.
Develop training and communications program to ensure the efficient and effective use of systems across the internal and external user base.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, system administration, and end user guides.
When required, act as the single point of contact with software vendors to ensure service levels are achieved and strong technology support is continually provided.
Participate in system upgrade testing by creating and executing test plans.
Serve as a backup for other members of the Business Technology Group.
Stay informed about system upgrades, industry best practices, and emerging trends in CRE technology.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a business systems analyst.
Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
A firm understanding of asset management and accounting workflow and processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn.
Strong relationship management skills, including interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively handle competing priorities.
Concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements.
Understanding of and commitment to client service.
