GDMC is expanding our Process Development team and is seeking an exceptional scientist. You will evaluate and design tools to craft or improve manufacturing design of next generation therapies. You will also be exposed to various client partners and collaborate with them to design the next generation therapeutics for manufacturability. Come join us and be part of our journey to becoming the premier partnership development and manufacturing organization in Asia Pacific. **Responsibilities** - Gain proficiency in and operate downstream processing equipment e.g. AKTA, Repligen TFF system. - Support both Upstream and Downstream activities, including basic cell culture, cell lysis, buffer preparation, column packing, and instrument cleaning / maintenance. - Contribute to the writing of laboratory protocols, standard operating procedures, and other forms of routine documentation. - Analyze and effectively communicate experimental data to internal stakeholders. **Requirements**: - Bachelors in Biological Science and Life Science disciplines, Biotechnology, Bioengineering or equivalent. - 1-3 years of work experience in a bioprocessing, academic or commercial process development setting. - Demonstrable proficiency in designing and troubleshooting experiments. - Work authorization in Singapore. **Desired Qualifications** - Working experience with downstream processing equipment. - Familiarity with developing purification processes for viral vectors (AAV, Lentivirus, Retrovirus). - Familiarity in working with AAV specific purification resins (i.e., AAVX Affinity Resin).
