National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. Situated at the birthplace of modern Singapore, in the heart of the Civic District, the Gallery is housed in two national monuments - City Hall and former Supreme Court - that have been beautifully restored and transformed into this exciting 64,000 square metre venue. In 2020, the Gallery was the only museum in Southeast Asia that received a ranking in The Art Newspaper’s annual global survey of attendance at art museums, taking 20th place. It was the first museum in Asia to receive the Children in Museums Award by the European Museum Academy and Hands On International Association of Children in Museums in 2018. The Gallery also won the awards for “Best Theme Attraction” at TTG Travel Awards 2017, “Best Attraction Experience”, “Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism” and “Best Customer Service (Attractions)” at the prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards in 2016 for its role in adding to the vibrancy of Singapore’s tourism landscape.

DESIGNATION : Senior Manager (Integrated Portfolio Marketing)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, develop and execute marketing campaigns centered on customer segments across multi-channel platforms (both offline and online) to achieve brand awareness and visitorship targets for the Gallery, both locally and internationally.
- Develop a segment marketing strategy based off research and customer insights. Propose and implement initiatives to drive engagement and visitorship amongst key customer segments.
- Lead in the Gallery’s membership programme to drive recruitment, engagement and retention, including optimisation of membership lifecycle stages to build a frictionless experience to drive stickiness.
- Develop and execute institutional marketing campaigns in line with Gallery-wide message house.
- Develop and execute media events such as press conferences and familiarisation tours. This includes the development of press releases and media advisories, as well as the crafting of story angles for different types of media.
- Develop strategic partnerships for the promotion and marketing of the Gallery including developing opportunities for cooperative marketing and promotional activities with potential and existing partners, media, Singapore Tourism Board and other international marketing-related organisations.
- Support Business Development, Partnership Development or other key functions with marketing and communications related matters.
- Manage marketing budget and track campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely and effectively with PR, digital marketing and social media agencies; as well as internal and cross-functional team members.
- Identify cross-marketing opportunities with existing & potential partners and develop activities to achieve a win-win outcome for all.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline including coursework in marketing and business communications.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in segment marketing and communications.
- Prior proven knowledge and experience in digital, social media engagement and CRM.
- Prior proven success in campaign development and execution through content marketing across multi-channel platforms.
- Relevant experience in public relations and working with media.
- Familiarity with the tourism industry, cultural organisations or equivalent.
- Prior proven success in project management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organisation, analytical skills as well as effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a complex and demanding environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills.
