- Lead special projects to define data usage and access-related risks, come up with hypothesis, engage with regional and local stakeholders to shape the solution and drive the changes or process improvements
- Design and plan for company-wide policies relating to data classification and data access control
- Communicate to and educate relevant teams on the importance of data governance policies and controls
- Resolve employee’s concerns regarding data governance related issues
- Contribute to discussions on new business activities, providing expertise to ensure data governance requirements are met

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science or other relevant fields
- At least 3 years relevant experience in data governance or compliance-related function
- Hands-on experience in creating successfully implemented policies and understanding of privacy laws and regulations preferred
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and confidently present observations and recommendations
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently or as a team; positive attitude and eager to learn
- Proven people management skills, with prior experience dealing with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment preferred
- Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
