A fintech company specializing in cryptocurrency-related products. They are currently seeking an Engineering Director to join their team and lead an offshore team located in Southeast Asia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead technical initiatives, architect, and design for end-to-end software development.
- Develop the software development roadmap and architect the technical aspects.
- Manage an offshore team to implement new technical strategies and oversee system development.
- Design advanced analytics systems using scalable technologies.
- Assess infrastructure, propose scalable solutions, and effectively communicate with teams.
- Plan, manage, and execute technical projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate communication between engineering and product teams.
- Draft concise technical requirement documents and foster innovation within the team.

**Requirements**:

- Architectural and design experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience in Golang (backend).
- Extensive expertise in Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Databases & Distributed Systems, and foundational Cryptography.
- Proven track record with cloud-based distributed database solutions and streaming processes.
- Demonstrated ability in infrastructure development within large-scale database architectures, especially within reputable data companies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage offshore teams and willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
