Manager, Technical Services

This role will oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, security and operations for SBF’s on-premise and cloud-based systems. This role is also required to assist with provision and management of end user computing services.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery and management of end user computing services.
- Work closely with service providers (third-party vendors) to:
- Design, test and implement IT Infrastructure and IT Security Systems/Products in Commercial Cloud or on-premise according to SBF security policies; and
- Manage and support the IT infrastructure and IT Security Systems/Products.
- Ensure that security requirements are met and maintained in all IT infrastructure and IT security systems/products (such as firewall, VPN, antivirus software, security logs and intrusion detection systems) to protect SBF's IT infrastructure.
- Deliver and manage end user computing services.
- Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) with appointed service providers are met.
- Manage all IT Infrastructure and IT Security Systems/Products contracts and ensure renewals are made timely.
- Maintain an inventory of IT infrastructure assets and ensure IT assets are up to date.
- Manage the processing of payments.
- Assist in the development of IT governance policies, best practices, and procedures (SOP) relating to IT Infrastructure and IT Security.
- Explore new ways and technology to monitor and improve the efficiency of IT Infrastructure operations and security.
- Manage IT incidents and ensure follow up and closure.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in IT or related field with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Understanding and knowledge of computer systems (hardware/software), servers, networks, and Cloud technology.
- Good working knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Transmission Control Protocol/ Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networking and Microsoft Windows.
- M365 environment and Windows Server administration.
- Security Systems/Products.
- (preferred) Good understanding and knowledge of cybersecurity and security testing.
- Able to work in a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision
