**Job Description** Responsibilities**
- Perform Blast Effect Analysis on buildings, facilities, structures, facades etc. in accordance with codes/standards such as UFC 3-340-02 & ASCE 59-22.
- Collaborate with Security Consultants in performing Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessments for projects
- Work closely with building and security consultants to understand the design intent and risk-based security strategies of each project, and develop protective designs to achieve the desired protection outcome
- Prepare detailed reports for Blast Effect Analysis, Structural Resilience Studies, and any other reports as required by the projects
- Prepare and deliver detailed specifications and drawings of protective measures for tender/ construction
- Collaborate and coordinate with in-house and external specialist consultants in delivering the best project results

**Qualifications**
- A degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience, self-driven engineers without prior blast analysis experience are welcomed to apply.
- Strong fundamentals in structural engineering and mechanics of material
- Able to effectively communicate with authorities, clients and other relevant parties in technical discussions and problem-solving sessions
- Effective written communication and report writing skills
- Able to perform effectively under pressure and tight timelines
- Qualification of Competent Person (Blast) is an added advantage
- Proficiency with structural analysis & computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software packages such as LS-DYNA is an advantage
