The role will serve as a CAD & Document Control Specialist and will be responsible for ensuring the drawings & engineering document repository is up to date. The specialist will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical expertise in drawing and engineering document readiness of the site. The specialist shall ensure adherence to standards and good engineering and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) practices

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operational Excellence, continuous improvement of drawings & document repository:_
- Create or/and update as-built drawings using CAD software
- Manage the drawing and document control system, including the review, approval, distribution, retrieval, and archiving of drawings and documents in Amgen’s repository
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and procedures for drawings and engineering documents
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and quality
- Manage multiple projects drawings and document with multiple deadlines; ensuring orderly and completeness CAD files for all assigned projects
- Provide training and guidance to other staff on drawing and document management best practices
- Maintain and organize drawing files and documents in repository
- Lead activities associated with utilization for space planning as required
- Site inspections as required to ensure drawing are accurate
- Administration of CAD database and master drawings for all disciplines including but not limited to as built updates
- Proficient presentation and facilitation skills
- Experience with MS Project, Excel and SharePoint
- Sound analytical and presentation skills
- Any other tasks as assigned
- Project & Stakeholder Management:_
- Liaises and manage external partner such as A/E companies, construction management companies, vendors and contactors of drawings during the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings and documents; resolve drawing and document issues
- Forms strong relationships and works collaboratively across functional teams & network
- Basic Qualifications:_
- Degree in Engineering or related field and/or
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD design, drafting and document control
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic work environment yet independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Preferred Qualifications:_
- Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, codes, and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specification
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Pleasant personality, Positive and Can-Do Attitude
- Excellent planning and organization skill
- Fluency in communications skills, both oral and written, including presentation skills
- Familiar with documentation in a highly regulated environment
- Interpersonal and facilitation skills necessary to forge consensus among competing client interests while ensuring objectives are met
