OTSAW SINGAPORE- Posted 3 hours agoProfessional quality position with QA/QC responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our products/services throughout the entire lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Your role will be essential in delivering products that meet customer expectations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and optimizing overall business performance.

**Responsibilities**:
**Quality Assurance**:

- Coordinate with both external and internal stakeholders to address all quality-related matter
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures and process
- Examine technical design requirements and develop quality assurance test plans
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production/ R&D teams to establish quality standards and ensure adherence to them
- Monitor product/service quality metrics, analyze data, and provide reports to management.
- Track, investigate, and resolve customer complaints and product issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality-related risks and develop risk mitigation plans

**Product/Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Implement statistical tools and quality methodologies to analyze and improve processes
- Collaborate with R&D or engineering teams to introduce new products or implement product changes with quality in mind

**Quality Control**:

- Perform inspections and tests during various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Develop and maintain inspection procedures and inspection criteria
- Work with procurement to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components

**Other responsibilities**:

- Supervise and train junior employees where applicable
- Provide formal reporting on performance and issues
- Lead efforts to ensure good 5S to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Ad-hoc duties/assignments by supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in quality engineering or quality assurance roles.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of problem-solving skills; Organized, Quality / Meticulous.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills that can complete tasks with proper time management
- Must be able to commit for 1 year
- Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 Management Systems.
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
