**What the role is**
- You plan and execute public and digital communication efforts in support of MINDEF/Singapore Armed Forces (SAF)’s communication objectives, principally to preserve and strengthen public trust and confidence in national defence, National Service (NS) and the SAF.

**What you will be working on**
- Formulate publicity plans mainstream and social media - Work closely with the media on feature stories as well as draft replies to forum letters and media queries - Develop the plans for local and international media engagement - Deal with the public communication of consequence management that involves incidents and unplanned events with a view towards maintaining public confidence in MINDEF/SAF Challenge(s) - Working with multiple stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of policy and operational issues, and then developing effective communication strategies that meet organisational objectives in a timely manner
