Singapore People's Association Full time

**What the role is**
- You will be part of the team at People’s Association (PA) that works with government agencies, grassroots volunteers, and frontline staff to strengthen the government’s policy communications with its citizens. You will develop simplified, relatable content to inform citizens about government support measures and programmes to meet their needs at various stages of their lives. Your work will also help to engage and involve Singaporeans from diverse backgrounds in the development of the government’s policies and programmes.

**What you will be working on**
- You will simplify and write concise messages to generate awareness about various government policies and programmes. You will design creative assets like infographics, posters, social media content and informational videos to deliver these key messages about important government support that is available to different population segments in the community. You will also work collaboratively within PA and with other government agencies on public campaigns.

**What we are looking for**
- You have a heart for the people and want to be part of a team that helps citizens, including the most vulnerable in the community, get the support they need. You want to be involved in meaningful work that allows you to connect with various citizen communities through your strong creative writing and design ideas. Your forte is in cutting through complex narratives, identifying key messages, and developing relatable content that carries these messages for diverse audience. In addition, you: - have at least 3 years of relevant experience in copywriting and designing highly engaging content for different mediums like social media posts, websites, marketing collaterals, publications among others;
- have a keen interest in national policies and international affairs;
- enjoy interacting with your audience to test messages, understand different perspectives and transfer the insights into your writing and design work;
- possess excellent written, oral and presentation skills;
- besides strong proficiency in English, you also have knowledge of a second vernacular language (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil);
- stay updated about the latest trends in social media and marketing communications so that your design ideas remain fresh and relevant with the times;
- have knowledge about social monitoring and analytical tools to evaluate the reach of your content pieces;
- have good time management skills to meet tight project timelines.
