Principal EMC Engineer

This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

HPE Aruba is looking for an individual who is highly motivated, energetic and driven to fill the post of Hardware R&D Engineering Manager. This individual will lead, manage and develop a team of skilled hardware engineers to deliver cutting-edge networking switch platforms for the global market.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for technical EMC compliance to meet product/market/country requirements.
- Responsible for reducing non-compliance risks during development.
- Responsible for EMC design reviews, investigations and debugging, mitigations and validation testing during new product development cycle
- Responsible to optimize compliance test costs while meeting aggressive time to market schedules

**Job requirements**:

- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical disciplines
- Min 8-10 years of experience in technical EMC compliance work, ideally with a lab or product development background
- Demonstrated experience in technical EMC compliance reviews of new products under development
- Manage relationship with external test houses and compliance agencies
- Excellent grasp of pre and post compliance processes, standards and emerging issues
- Experience in at least 5 new product introductions with focus on design for EMC and EMC related investigations
- Good communication skills with experience working across cultures and with remote partners
