Senior Manager, Board Secretariat 1

Job Responsibilities*
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and Charities Act and other relevant statutory requirements
- Plan, organise and Physical Board/Committee Meetings, including preparation of meeting materials and Minutes Taking.
- Ensure Board proceedings/decisions are properly recorded and minuted
- Support Head of Corp Sect, Board and Board Chairman
- Managing Board Secretarial physical and virtual records (minute books, statutory registers, board manual and shared folders)
- Managing Special Board Sect Projects (Eg. SOPs, Board Manual, Board Evaluation, Board Training & Development and Board Induction etc)
- Mentoring and Training junior corp sect team members
- All other related corporate secretarial support (including administrative duties)
Requirements - Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
ICSA Graduate
Track record in corporate secretariat or related functions
Job experience in large or listed company an advantage
Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of related work experience in large or listed companies
- Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous, attentive to detail and process driven
- Able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision as well as under pressure
- Ability to lead and mentor/coach junior team members
- Good analytical and organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken and problem solving skills
- Passionate, can-do attitude, open to critical feedback
- Proficient in MS office, knowledge of corporate secretarial software, Pervasent Board App, ACRA, Bizfile and Charity Portal is an advantage.
