**Job Description**:
With the expansion of the Multinational Corporation (MNC) in Asia Pacific regional office in Singapore, we are seeking to recruit a Production Engineer to support the industrial operations. If you are passionate about chemical process related operations, this is an opportunity for you.

**PRODUCTION ENGINEER**

Reporting to the Industrial Operations Manager, the Production Engineer will support the operations at the production site. He or She will provide support for production manufacturing process to ensure high quality product, improve production output, collaborate on the installation of new equipment and the improvement of the existing equipment. The Production Engineer will also work with various stakeholders, vendors and corporate office to enhance the operational efficiency in Singapore.

**MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
**_Overview of activities _**
- Conduct laboratory & pilot trials for process improvement and optimization.
- Record trial results to present in an effective & precise explanation.
- Ensure the equipment maintenance of pilot & its inventory.
- Submit and review reports bi-weekly if necessary.
- Ensure continuous process improvements (products, process, analysis, organization)

**_Industrial Process Improvement/Optimization _**
- Proactively monitor, identify, develop, and implement improvement to processes & equipment.
- Troubleshoot to minimize production downtime and achieve product quality
- Investigate, report, and troubleshoot findings on production dysfunctions observed during campaign.
- Train the staffs on the manufacturing process and procedures as required

**_Industrial Scale-up & Campaign _**
- Follow the production campaigns & conduct weekly meetings with Sub-Contractors
- Provide technical support to day-to-day production
- Participate in the industrial trial transfer with Chemist to scale-up the manufacturing process of existing & new products in Singapore site from the Laboratory and Pilot trials
- Assist & participate in troubleshooting the industrial scale-up process problems to minimize production downtime & improve product quality.

**_Industrial Equipment Installation _**
- Collaborate on the installation of new equipment
- Perform detailed studies of equipment and/or technology to enhance product output
- Collaborate with Sub-Contractor’s Quality team and for the execution of process qualifications regarding production systems & equipment (IQ, OQ, & PQ)
- Support the installation, validate the equipment, and create the procedures to run the equipment
- Train the staffs involved

**_Quality & Safety Environment _**
- Coordinate non-conformity treatment with Quality team in France and Singapore
- Collaborate to obtain products in accordance with the GMP rules
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Observe and follow the safety procedures (PPE, MSDS and etc)

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand P&IDs
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Willing to work in Jurong Island 5 days per week in the plants (5km from Jurong Island checkpoint)
- Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize a variety of tasks, and projects
- Possess good communication skills, time management, project management, organizational and presentation skills as well as computer skills are important
