**I.GENERAL SUMMARY & OVERALL CHALLENGES**:

- Development of innovative and competitive digital imaging and computer vision sub-systems in cooperation with project teams, to introduce quality products to the market.
- Cultivate an environment to promote innovation and ensure a strong IP pipeline.
- Comply and adhere to the regulatory and company’s EHS requirement.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

**II.** **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT IMAGE PROCESSING AND COMPUTER VISION ALGORITHMS: Identify image processing and computer vision requirements; adopt and design solutions to implement in software, firmware, or hardware
- TEST AND VERIFY ALGORITHMS: Determine suitable quality metrics and perform tests on algorithms
- BUILD, TEST, AND VERIFY FUNCTIONAL MODELS OF MICROSCOPE SYSTEMS: Integrate subsystems around the concept to prove.
- EXPLORE AND DEVELOP MICROSCOPY TECHNOLOGIES: Adopt and design technologies to address user pain points and improve product value
- BUILD AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE WITH THE TEAM: Share knowledge, utilize market/ technology information to meet customer needs.

**I.REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION**:
**a) Professional Experience**
- Background in digital imaging, computer vision, or signal processing
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Knowledge in Surgical Microscopy preferred

**b) Education**
- Engineering degree with specialization in image processing or computer vision
- MS / PhD in image processing or computer vision preferred

**c) Language**
- English

**d) Travel (required estimated % of time)**
- 10%

**e) Other**
- Systematic in problem-solving approach and creative thinker
- Prototyping using Matlab / Python / C / C++
- Knowledge in FPGA design preferred
